Following these directions, https://wiki.analog.com/resources/eval/ad9680-1000ebz#design_and_integration_files, when in using VisualAnalog, I am supposed to be given an alert asking if it can program the FPGA with the appropriate bin file. This never happens when I select the AD9234 board as the target. When I select the AD9680, it does happen. Is there a way around this? It causes the SPI controller not to recognized the DUT and I cant communicate with the board.
The AD9234 is the same as the AD9680. Please go ahead and program the FPGA with the AD9680 image. SPIController will then recognize the AD9234.
Thanks, when I do that and open SPIController, I get an error saying 'ChipID is not known. NewDUT() will not proceed'. How do I get around this?
Hi gnewell, i believe you can click "ignore" and continue. Can you please check that?
I can hit ignore a few times but when I try to 'Read' the Chip ID(1) of Chip Grade(2), it returns Unknown.
