Spurs in AD9695-1300 vs AD9595-625

Using Virtual Beta, the -625 speed grade shows 4-6 dB better 2x and 3x spurs over the -1300 speed grade. Why is this? Is it replicated in actual devices?

I am testing the -1300M version on an eval PWB & ADS7-V2 FPGA  with clocks between 340 to 510M. Would I see a change if I replaced the AD9695-1300 with AD9695-625?

    the AD9695-625 and AD9695-1300 are power and performance optimized to operate at the rated sample rates. however, there may be minor differences in performance at similar inputs. most notably, the sample rates between the two devices are ~2x. this means that for the -625, the sampler has ~2x the time to settle and sample and make a decision, which translates to less distortion/memory effects as compared to the -1300 speed grade.

    yes. if you run the -1300 at 625MSPS and the -625 and 625MSPS, you could expect different performance
