We have followed the installation instructions to use the AD9915 Eval Board with our lab PC, but aren't able to connect with the device when running the evaluation software. We have power supplies set to 3.3V and 1.8V, we see current flowing on these lines, the 100 MHz clock reference we are using is turned on, all the jumpers are set appropriately, and we have the green light when connecting the USB cord between eval board and computer. However, when running the software, we still see a blinking red light on the lower right hand corner. We have tried installing/un-installing/re-installing the drivers and the device software, and still have not been able to communicate with the board. Please advise next steps.

Apologies for responding late. I believe you can check this possible fix to your problem:
1. Check Device Manager — Confirm the device appears under "USB Controllers" or "ADI Devices" in Windows Device Manager (not under "Unknown Devices" or with a yellow warning icon). If it shows an error, note the error code.
2. Try a different USB port/cable — Use a direct USB port on the PC (not a hub). Try a different cable. The green LED confirms physical USB connection but not necessarily proper enumeration.
3. Check USB driver version — The AD9915 eval software typically requires the Analog Devices USB driver (CyUSB or similar). Ensure you're using the exact driver version bundled with your version of the eval software, not a newer/older one.
4. Run software as Administrator — Right-click the eval software and select "Run as Administrator." Some USB communication requires elevated privileges.
5. Check for USB controller conflicts — Disable any other USB devices that may conflict.
6. Verify firmware on the eval board's USB controller — The blinking red light in the software specifically indicates the software cannot communicate with the onboard USB microcontroller (typically a Cypress FX2 or similar). If the firmware didn't load properly into the USB controller on power-up, communication will fail even though the green LED is on. Try power cycling the board (disconnect USB, remove power, wait 10 seconds, reapply power, then reconnect USB).
7. Boot order — Some eval boards require power to be applied before connecting USB so the microcontroller boots correctly and enumerates with the proper firmware.
8. Try a different PC — This eliminates OS/driver corruption issues.

Thank you for the suggestions. I completed every step you suggested, and am still having issues. I've attached some screenshots for reference that may help in diagnosing what I'm experiencing, but at this time, I'm still not able to connect with the Eval Board.
