Peculiar error with RAM in AD9910

Thread Summary

The user experiences issues with the AD9910 where uploading new RAM profiles causes the trigger to call old profiles, leading to incorrect signals. A software reset resolves the issue, making it avoidable but not fixed. The support engineer suggests saving the setup to minimize the inconvenience of frequent resets.

The situation  I am experiencing is, I load RAM to the AD9910 from a .txt file in raw binary (addressing frequency) next I trigger the I/O Update externally repeatedly and everything seems to be working fine as I watch the signal on a spectrum analyser. When I upload new RAM however the trigger seems to be calling the old RAM again so I read RAM to file to see what is going on and what returns is, for lack of a better word, nonsense at this point the trigger no longer calls either profile.

The board can be returned to sanity using a software reset and the problem does not occur if a software reset is performed before the next RAM profile is uploaded, this means the problem is avoidable but is there a fix to the problem.
