AD5933 external clock signal

Thread Summary

The user is designing a board for impedance spectroscopy using AD5933 and needs to generate a 25kHz MCLK frequency from a 16MHz crystal. The final answer recommends using an external clock divider such as AD9558 or AD9959, controlled via SPI or I2C, or a microcontroller to generate the required MCLK frequency.

Hello Community,

please Help me.

First of all sorry, I´m not experienced with it.

I´m designing a board for impedance spectroscopy using AD5933.

I´d like to change MCLK-frequencies to be able to measure lower frequencies with AD5933. If it's possible with a programmable solution I would be very happy.

The following table is a part of manual UG-364. I need frequencies down to 25 kHz at MCLK-Pin of AD5933.

Could you recommend me some solutions, please? I´d like to use IC´s and don't wanna spending many hours to design filters and so on. Thank you.
