&lt;li&gt;Reconnecting the USB cable restores communication, but my application terminates unexpectedly due to the COM port disconnect.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;I have tried using different USB cables and ports, but the issue still persists.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Has anyone else experienced this issue with Voyager 4 when continuously logging data over USB? Is there a known firmware update or workaround for maintaining stable COM communication over long sessions? I installed the App phyphox on my iPhone and generated a 2 kHz and a 4 kHz signal and held it next to the sensor. In the FFT i saw a peak at 2 and 4 kHz. So everything was looking fine. I then started to create a python script that gets the data from the sensor. I also got this to work.&lt;/span&gt;&amp;nbsp;The only problem I have is that I get strange values from the sensor. I leave the sensor on the table while measuring and read out the values. In my Python script I set the rx_output_type to &amp;ldquo;raw&amp;rdquo;. In my opinion, I should only get values in a constant area when the sensor is at rest. However, if I carry out measurements at two different times, I get different values. For example, one day the values fluctuate between -300 and -700, the next day the values suddenly fluctuate between -2158100 and -215600. I have no idea why the values vary so much although I have not changed anything in the hard- or software. Do you guys have any idea why the values are behaving like this or how to investigate on this? I then tried the IIO Oscilloscope again and to my surprise, i wasn&amp;#39;t able to recreate the 2 and 4 kHz example. When i hold the iPhone next to the sensor, i can&amp;#39;t see a peak anywhere. &lt;p&gt;Problem:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I am getting 350 - 410 samples of vibration data in a second when I run a count to calculate the no of samples/sec.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Question&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;How can I get 5000 data samples/ sec ?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Is my way of measuring the sampling data rate using a counter correct?&lt;/p&gt;
