Hello,
I’m using the Voyager 4 device for communication over USB. When I continuously collect and save data to .csv files, after some time the communication over the COM port stops responding.
The issue looks like this:
- The program runs correctly for a while (data logging works fine).
- After some time, the COM communication drops.
- Reconnecting the USB cable restores communication, but my application terminates unexpectedly due to the COM port disconnect.
- I have tried using different USB cables and ports, but the issue still persists.
Has anyone else experienced this issue with Voyager 4 when continuously logging data over USB? Is there a known firmware update or workaround for maintaining stable COM communication over long sessions? Are there any recommended timeouts, buffer limits, or flow control settings for this device?
