Help streaming data from Cn0549 and Cora Z7 to Matlab.

Category: Software

Dear CbM community,

I'm trying to stream data from the Cn0549 and Cora Z7 to matlab, following the advice from https://wiki.analog.com/resources/eval/user-guides/circuits-from-the-lab/cn0549/matlab_example , I've installed the libiio 0.25 .exe file from https://github.com/analogdevicesinc/libiio/releases/tag/v0.25 (I don't know if that is what is meant to be installed so advice would be much appreciated) but when I go to run the code provided from the first link on Matlab I get the following error

Error using adi.CN0532
Method 'releaseChanBuffers' in class 'adi.common.RxTx' uses different access
permissions than its superclass 'matlabshared.libiio.base'. Set 'releaseChanBuffers'
access list to match superclass access list.

I do apologise If I've become annoying with these questions, but I come from a mechanical engineering background and I am not very familiar with these types of problems.

thanks in advance.

    Dear Travis, I'm running the code on a friend's laptop which has matlab R20a, and I now get the error on line 13 of the code provided: https://github.com/analogdevicesinc/SensorToolbox/blob/cn0540/sensor_examples/cn0549.m

    Error:

    >> Code_data_streaming
    Error using matlabshared.libiio.base/cstatusid
    Failed to find device: ltc2308.

    Error in matlabshared.libiio.base/getDev

    Error in adi.CN0540Base/setupInit (line 212)
    obj.ltc2308 = getDev(obj, 'ltc2308');

    Error in adi.common.RxTx/configureChanBuffers (line 214)
    setupInit(obj);

    Error in matlabshared.libiio.base/setupImpl

    Error in adi.common.RxTx/setupImpl (line 116)
    setupImpl@matlabshared.libiio.base(obj);

    Error in Code_data_streaming (line 13)
    data = xl();

    Bellow I've attached a photo of the matlab window, with the library and the toolbox that I've installed seen on the 'Current Folder'

    Thanks in advance,
