dcdc high voltage amplifier

Thread Summary

The user inquired about achieving at least 10W output with the LT8306, which has an external MOSFET, after finding the LT8304's output power capability insufficient. The final answer suggested changing R1 to 400K to address the issue. The solution was validated with a modified LTSpice simulation.

Hi, as I viewed from LT8304, that it has very limited output power ability, <100mA@200V, which is meet my requirement.

So switched LT8306, which has external MOSFET, maybe better I think. but refer to its demo in LTSpice, i can not simply simulate it to be as high as 200V, while i only changed NPS ratio, see photo attached. Seem it is not work properly.

Could u correct me on how to generate output, at least 10w for output. tks John
