LT8708 损坏问题

Rather than power the chip from Vbus, as shown in the picture below, in my design the chip is powered from Vbat.

On the test condition , Vbat is set to 41V,10mA . The Vgs of M2 is measured to be 6.2V, other MOSs is low.

When I tried to measure the voltage of MODE pin with a multimeter, some noise like spark can be heared.

Then I measured the voltage of LDO33 pin, it's 0.5V, which is supposed to be 3.3V. I think the LT8708 is damaged.

One question is, should I adjust the terminal from which the chip is powered ?

Another question is, the doides DB1 and DB2 I used is Schotky Doides, however Si Doides is recommend in the datasheet.Could this influnce the Vgs of M1 and M4 ?

  • Thanks. Now, there's a new problem : with the increasing of the output voltage, the output current becomes lower and lower. In consequence, when the output voltage reaches the wanted value, the output current is regulated to only hundreds of mAs.Could a large Rsense(see the picture below) cause this problem ?
