Hi,
Do you see SDP connector connected message as given below example?

Kudret
Hi,
Yeah, On my control screen, it's the same as yours.
When i input 6000M and 4000M, that's what the spectrum shows.
Hi,
First of all, I want to make sure SPI communication is okay. Can you select the MUXOUT pin output from Register 4 as Dvdd and write to the Register 4. LED that is connected to MUXOUT should turn-on. IF not, there might be a problem with the SDP-S connector.
Kudret
Hi,
I did as you said, and when i input Dvdd in MUXOUT, the LED is on. So it's probably not a connection problem.

Thanks.
Can you also probe the crystal oscillator output to see if there is 122.88 MHz output?
Kudret
Thanks.

Hi,
The adf4355 has only two outlets, A and B. How can I probe the crystal oscillator's 122.88MHZ output?
Do I output 122.8MHZ directly at the VCOout?
Zsq
You can connect an oscilloscope probe to TP1 or TP2; or an SMA cable to REFINA or REFINB connectors to check the output of crystal.
Kudret
Hi,
I did as you said, I use an SMA cable to REFINA, I can get a signal of about 122.4Mhz.
As shown in the figure below.
Is there any modification on your board? Can you verify all the below components are assembled on the board?
Kudret
Hi,
Because it's the first time I've ever used it, I haven't changed it.
The ones you circled are all there.

Thank you for the reply.
Which button do you use? 1 or 2? You should use Write Init button to initialize the part.

Kudret
Hi,
I'm a little confused. Do I have to press button one every time? When I could not change the output frequency before, I pressed it, and the signal would not show on the spectrum instrument. I had to turn off the board and open it again, and then press button 2 to show the signal on the spectrum instrument.

Hi,
I just tried it again. When my board switch is not on, I press button 1 and turn on the board switch. The output is the same value as before. When I turn the board on, I press button 1, no matter how much I change the value in VCOout, I can't get a signal out, I had to turn the board off and back on to get the signal out.
