Hi:
The forward-link rate of MAX96717F is 3Gbps. Why does the applied band of RL specification go up to 3.5GHz?And why RL and IL have different applied bands?

Thank you for your update.I still want to know why the RL and IL of the MAX96717F have different bandwidth requirements. And why is the channel bandwidth of the MAX96717F only 1.5GHz, but the IL requirement is 3.5GHz?
Equation 11 is a mathematical expression of the curve that both 3Gbps and 6Gbps share. But you only need to care about the band related to your speed mode.
There's no expression in the screenshots or the file saying that the IL bandwidth requirement under 3Gbps mode is 3.5GHz. You may need to double check the contents.
Sorry,I misdescribed it. What I want to know is why the RL bandwidth requirement under 3Gbps mode upto 3.5GHz,not IL?
Equation 11 is a mathematical expression of the curve that both 3Gbps and 6Gbps share. They are written together just for simplicity.
When it comes to 1500MHz+, 1500MHz~2000MHz band is applicable for both 3Gbps and 6Gbps, and 2000MHz~3500MHz is only applicable for 6Gbps. That's what we can get from Table 1.
