LTC6811-1

Question

Hello to ADI support team , 
 
 I have some questions according LTC6811-1 . I use cascade connection of two LTC6811 for 20S cells connection . 
 
 1. I have mode in with Controller is disconnected and both LTC6811-1 operating without external Controller . 
 1.1 Is it possible disable Balancing mode by HW with signal to pin in this mode ? 
 1.2 Does both LTC's in sleep in this mode ?

Please check the "WATCHDOG AND DISCHARGE TIMER" section in datasheet page 35. IC will go to sleep if Watchdog timer expires. But there is an exception when Discharge timer is enabled and the Discharge Timeout duration is selected (DCTO) then you can disconnect controller for the duration set by DCTO. once that expires IC will go to sleep, so you need to make any communication before DCTO expires.)
