Question
I want to evaluate AD9577 in order to replace 2 oscillatorsrunning at 26.214MHz et le 16.777216MHz.
These frequencies are used to drive I2S and TDM links. The customer has alreadyan oscillator at 25 MHz.
Requirements :
Input : 25 MHz
Output1 : 26.214 MHz
Output2 : 16.777216MHz
Here are the 2 parts that the customer would like to use as input:
- Crystal 25MHz Tolérance:10ppm à 25°C / Stability :10ppm -20°Cà70°C /9pF / 70Ohms // MDX32Référence MDX32104-250GGE-T/R
- Oscillator : 25MHz Satbilité:25ppm à 25°C / -20°Cà70°C / HCMOS 3V3 /15pF
Reference M3320GAE-25.000MHz-T/RJittter
5ps RMS (1-sigma) max
1.5ps RMS (1-sigma) max, phase jitter in 10KHz ~20MHz Freq. Band
50ps peak-to-peak max
Answer
I ran the AD9578 eval software and it came up with 26.21399999923 (which is0.02 ppb error) and 16.77721599987 MHz (which is 0.007 ppb error), and is atleast a million times more accurate than the oscillator they want to use.
