Hi,

the AD9528 does not have an internal EEPROM or flash memory to save its configuration. Every time it is powered up, the AD9528 must be initialized.

I do not understand what you mean by modifying the software to keep the same configuration.

The Cypress chip only makes the conduit between the PC (that is the eval software) and the AD9528 using the SPI.

The idea would be to reprogram the Cypress chip to use a default configuration for the AD9528. But in order to do that, we need the source files used to build the fimware that runs in the Cypress chip.

here is a list of the legacy ADI clocking ICs that have internal EEPROM:

- AD9520-0,...,-5

-AD9522-0,...,-5

-AD9523-1

-AD9547 and AD9548

AD9574 and AD9576 have pins that could be used to select certain configurations.

AD9542, ..., AD9546, AD9554, AD9557, AD9558, AD9559 can upload/download their configurations from external EEPROM.
