PLL1 is not remaining in the lock.

Category: Hardware
Product Number: AD9523-1

Hello,

AD9523-1 is locking its both the PLLs when I program AD9523-1. then I saved all the contents to EEPROM. later I turned OFF the supply and again turned ON, and read the status of the 0x22C register, then the response is "E9" i.e. PLL1 is not remaining in the locking condition but PLL2 does. what to do for PLL1 should also be in the lock state like PLL2.

  • Hi,

after you power up the board and the AD9523-1 starts to work using the content it downloaded from the EEPROM, read back the AD9523-1 to see if the register values match the ones you used the first time.

Then change the source of the reference clock to a signal generator and see if the phenomenon happens again.
