Hi,
We have recived today an end of life notification for our distributor Digikey (with a final order date of the 17th Aug 2024) for the AD LTC6957 clock buffer.
We are very heavily invested in this component in our end products so the distributor's notification has potential for serious impact on our business and we are looking for AD confirmation of any change in product life cycle status.
Checking the AD product page today the LTC6957 flagged as "recomeneded for new designs"
Can you please confirm if the LTC6957 is indeed still recomended for new designs ?
If so how long does this status indicate supply will be maintained for ?
Is the distributor correct that the device is due to be end of lifed ?
If this is not the correct forum to make life cycle can you please direct us to a point that can help with this query.
Thank you in anticipation.
Nick.
