Hi,
I have never encountered the Visual Basic window you show. The eval software looks as below on my pc and it is a x64-based PC running Windows 10.
This is where you can find the installer I used: https://www.analog.com/en/design-center/evaluation-hardware-and-software/evaluation-boards-kits/EVAL-AD9547.html#eb-relatedsoftware

Hi Petre,
I also installed it from the same installation link. Let me try to install the same in some other system and update you
Hi Petre,
I tried reinstalling it, but the issue still persists. May I know which MS office version you are using?
Hi,
it is not clear to me why the AD9547 eval software should be related to MS office. I have Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise.
This software was developed probably in 2009. But I had no problems installing it on my pc
Petre
Hi Petre,
I am also not sure how to resolve this issue.
Hi,
Please tell me exactly your steps:
- what PC do you have?
- you installed the AD9547 eval software
-you then went to Start menu in Windows, Analog Devices folder and you clicked on AD9547_AD9548 Evaluation Software.
I then get this window when I do not have the AD9547 eval board connected to the PC. Do you?
If I had the board connected to the PC, the program would enter directly into the next window:
When in this process, the Microsoft Visual Basic window you sent the first time appeared?

I don't have the eval board here with me, this is the window I am getting.

>When i go to profile & click on design a new profile, i am getting this window.
Hi,
clearly your pc has a problem launching the excel spreadsheet. Go into the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Analog Devices\AD9547_48 Evaluation Software and there you should fine the file Profile Designer.xls. Open the file (this is the file opened by the eval software), introduce your data and then save the profile in the same folder. Then I hope you'll be able to Load the profile setup using the file you just created.
