Hi, I am testing the phase noise of HMC7044 output clock, and my measuring instrument is keysight N9020A.


I can't get an approximation to the datasheet.


So I want to know the models of the phase noise measuring instrument in the HMC7044 datasheet.

    Hi, 
    

    Keysight E5052B is used for the phase noise measurement.
    

    But, you are comparing 40 MHz (your measurement) and 2457.6 MHz (Figure 10) and expecting the get same result which is not possible. 
    

    You can use ADISIMPLL to check what is expected phase noise profile with the settings you are using and compare it with your measurement results.
