ADF4371 16x and 32x power turn on time

I'm looking at a case where I need to use both the 16x and 32x outputs, but not at the same time.  I'll use a switch on the output to send the correct output to the desired RF path.  The question is how fast is the turn on/off time for the 16x and 32x outputs?  If the outputs don't turn on / off fast enough for my application I may need to leave them both running all the time and implement way to get more isolation.  

Second part to this is that the register to enable the outputs does not seem to be part of the double buffered set so it would need to be programmed separately.  Is this understanding correct?

    Hi Jon,

    The switch on time for 8GHz output is pretty fast ~30ns. We do not have a measurement for RF16 and RF32, but I would expect something very similar. In any case, I do not think it will be any higher than the lock time. Output drivers should be ready once the part is locked to the new frequency. That may be a concern if you like to keep the same frequency and only switch between RF16 and RF32 outputs which is not very likely.

     Yes, these registers are not double buffered.
