I want to design a EEG Acquisition SMD circuit board with 24 ADC and want to give it to DSP using USB (i.e., micro USB on 24 Bit ADC board and USB of DSP board) ? How should I achieve this with the ICs Mentioned in EEG Measurement section?
I want the Power circuit and every thing that is needed on a single board.
Also, I want to Design it for multi-channel EEG acquisition.
The reason I asked the question is to have a clear idea as of what is to be considered while designing.
So, it is my sincere request to you to help me achieve this. ( I have decided to Design this board within a board, This is my target as I want to work on the depths of DSP as soon as possible.).
I'm not sure I know how to help you here. I'm unclear as to what you are looking to do, do you have a block diagram or drawing of what you want to do?
Sir, I figured out my question should be more general rather than the question I asked above, So I have written the question in more general form.
I am writing this regarding suggestion to resources or blog or step by step execution to achieve the goal on how to design a complex SMD board for a particular application in few days(3-4 Days). I have developed few boards and as a person who has designed the board after so many days of effort when I get the fabricated board in my hands, get to know after powering it that there is some error in design or the board current requirements are not to the required level or isolation is left or other factors are missing, it gets too frustrating.
Then I have to go through all the process from ordering IC's, Design of PCB, Fabrication etc.
Points may consider:
What are the points to be taken care while designing,
How to integrate the power circuit on same board (from 5v, 3.3V, 12 V, on same board),
Care regarding SMD ICs as to how to use them etc..
So it is my sincere request to you to do the needful.
I want know whether there is Multi channel (8 channel) Instrumentation Amplifier in SMD, or if not any alternative to this.
This is a fairly loaded question, and one that doesn't have a simple answer.
Each SMD is going to have its own layout requirements and care should be taken to make sure all the datasheet specs are adhered to. So I can't tell you specifically, because that comes down to each individual device.
There is a great tool that you can use called ADIsimPower (Power Management Tools | Design Center | Analog Devices ), which can help design your power supply system.(things like rails, topologies, ripple, etc)
I can tell you that there is no instrumentation amplifier that I am aware of that comes in 8-channels. We do have dual instrumentation amplifiers, so you could look at the AD8224, AD8222, AD8426.
