I'm a beginner of electrical device, but I need to build up a high-speed temperature acquisition system for my physical research.
I have bought an EVAL-CN0172-SDPZ and an EVAL-SDP-CB1Z, and installed the software for CN0172 by following the instruction described here:
I can read the temperature properly, but there seems to be no button or box to change the data acquisition frequency. There is a box for "samples/reading", but it only reduce the rate, because the minimum number is unity in this field.
I appreciate if anybody could help me for this problem.

There is some C code that you can use along with another setup (EVAL-ADT7420-PMDZ and EVAL-ADICUP360 boards) if you are more comfortable modifying embedded code. I would recommend having a look at this demo(https://wiki.analog.com/resources/eval/user-guides/eval-adicup360/reference_designs/demo_adt7420 ) and then seeing if this will help your project out.
thank you very much for your very kind advice. A distributor told me that it enables me to measure temperature at 500Hz, but it seems to be wrong. I'll quickly purchase EVAL-ADT7420-PMDZ and EVAL-ADICUP360 boards and check the instruction guide you recommended.
