Pricing is not available yet, but if you wanted to offer a rough idea of what consumption rates you anticipate for this program, along any key milestones in your development schedule, I can make a couple of calls to see what I can find out.”

We would probably need this capability before ramping up production, probably in the late summer 2017 period. We expect quantities to be in the few dozen for the first year or so and ramping up to a few hundred per year in 2019.

We are also having difficulties procuring more ADIS16460 - none of the usual vendors has any in stock or available for some time. For our immediate needs, do you know if there's somewhere we could procure qty 1-8?

Guy and I spoke about the procurement difficulty a couple of weeks ago.  There is a derivative part, AD24000 (under NDA), that may be useful to mitigate the availability risk in the short term.  I've attached the datasheet -- note that the dynamic range is greater, but the noise performance is worse than ADIS16460.  If you decide this is a good path, I'll need to hand-hold the order a little bit, as this isn't a standard product offering.  In parallel, I'll find out about ADIS16460 availability, so you can make the best decision on how to move forward.

Unfortunately we are not expecting any ADIS16460 to stock for at least a month.  If parts are needed in the short term, the AD24000 is a possible alternative.

I learned that there is another option as well.  We have a new part, ADIS16465, that is expected to begin sampling in about 2 weeks.  I have attached the datasheet below.  It is not a released part, but it could be an option, in addition to the AD24000 which has parts available now.
