What is impedance termination at DUT_ pin of MAX9979?
Nominal output impedance of MAX9979 is 50 ohm. This nominal 50Ω driver output resistance is adjustable by ±2.5Ω with a 360mΩ . This flexibility in adjustment of output resistance helps to match the load impedance and thus to avoid any kind of reflections on high speed signal. It also helps to optimize the power transfer.
Driver output impedance can be set using the RO serial bits in “DCL Calibration Register”. See the below table for serial .
