If you are asking for the number of devices that can be ganged together, the answer is: there is no known limits on it. However, you have to make sure that the impedances in your paths have to match so the current is equally shared between channels.
Are you suggesting you want to gang a master in a certain compensation mode and gang the slave in other modes? If that is the question, here's the response: the gang mode is AD5560 is designed so that the master controls the loop, so in simpler terms, the compensation settings of the master will prevail over the whole gang system regardless of the settings in the slaves.
