Q
It seems the AD1862 datasheet doesn't contain the output voltage compliance
value. What is its value?
A
It's not given in the datasheet because the current output should drive the
virtual earth node of an op amp.
The AD1862 datasheet doesn't contain the output voltage compliance value
because we recommend that the DAC's current output be connected to the summing
junction of an op amp. The voltage at the current output pin should not deviate
significantly from analog ground. The only reason for having a specification on
compliance would be if the current output were driving a resistive load, and
its voltage could therefore rise significantly above ground. Operating the DAC
in this mode seriously degrades the performance of the part and is not
recommended therefore there is no specification for output voltage compliance.
