Q I usee the AD1986ABSTZ as an AC97 Code for a room panal application in building automation. Now we want to use the AD1986ABSTZ with HD-Audio Signals. It it possible to use the Codec for this? Can HD-Audio Signals be handled with the 1986A? We just want to check /prove it. A The AD1986A supports both AC97 and HD audio interface. For your clients peace of mind please request him to check the spec in the datasheet for his requirements.
