Not able to Bring up Evaluation Board

Hello CJI,

I do not have my eval board with me at the moment so I cannot check everything. Please include your project since there are many registers that could mess up output. Saves time with us going back and forth. 

But, I will ask you about an obvious thing I see and since the checkbox is not labeled it is super easy for someone new to not "know about it". 

Checking the checkbox I marked in red will turn on the oscillator output. Did you turn it on?

I will also attach my test project to test the outputs of the SDSP from an oscillator.

i have compiled and downloaded.

am able to readback DC as 1.43...

But Still am not getting Audio Out.

1. Am taking Audio Out from Stereo Out of the evaluation Board. 

2. Do i need to connect power supply for this ? 5V across J38 and J31?

Hello CJI,

I will add a few things to what Dave has said.

Please try the attached project and look at my Eval board setup.

The 5V from the USBi is enough to power and run the board. The audio in and out will be fine.

Look at the below screenshot, I have readback what I wrote to the DC cell.

I have just taken a fresh project, made these schematic and link compile downloaded that, so basic analog in and out will not need any specific control register changes.

Make sure your USBi's output is set to 1.8V, there is a switch S1 on the USBi module, please check that as well.

am looking for Adaptive Hybrid ANC with this ADAU1787.-- will that suits ?

any examples? any thirdparty IP that are available ? if so how to get ?

We have not given out any examples for fear of upsetting some of our loyal customers. There are only a few ways to do this so it might look similar enough to where we might get accused of stealing IP. 

Contact us through your local ADI sales rep and we can look to see if we can hook you up with a 3rd party to help you with a solution.
