I'm now making a circuit that requires a large dc voltage between 40 and 100 volts to be coupled to a small ac voltage, and then they are outputted to the circuit together.
We have SSM2141 now, but its input voltage is up to + / -18v. I have also searched other products, and only found some similar products like SSM2142 and SSM2143, which cannot meet my input voltage needs. Therefore, I would like to ask whether you have the product with the same function and circuit design to SSM2141 , which can accept large input voltage.
Hi,
Aside from 40 to 100 Vdc common-mode, what are the other parameters that are deemed critical for your application? There could be a variety of options and with your defined requirements, we can narrow down the selection. Thank you!

Jino
Hi Jino,
Thank you for your reply!
Aside from 40 to 100 Vdc input voltage, there is not other special
requirement. I want to get one Differential Line Receiver with the same
function and circuit to the SSM2141, which is used to couple a large dc
voltage and a small ac voltage, and then output them to a resistor of a
circuit together. So it is better to be closer to the SSM2141.
What products do you have that meet these requirements? The
attachments are the details of SSM2141.
Thank you!

Hi,
The closest part replacement for SSM2141 in terms of your High Voltage common mode requirements with good CMRR performance and also pin-compatible, is the AD8479. Just take note that it has a lower bandwidth, 130 kHz, as compared to SSM2141 which is 3 MHz.
Let me know if this fits your application requirement.

Jino
Hi Jino,
Thank you very much for your recommendation!
AD8479 is very good for my application. And the bandwidth of 130 kHz
is ok. The signal's frequency is about between 1 kHz and 2 kHz.
Thank you!

Hi Jino,
I have looked up AD8479 and found that it has different types
like AD8479
ARZ and AD8479 BRZ. What difference between them and which one is more
suitable for my application?
Thank you very much!

Hi SUN Yajun,
AD8479 comes with grades, being A and B. B grade has more excellent specs than A grade, specifically the DC specs. The specifications in Table 1, page 3 of the datasheet shows the comparison between the two grades.
So, if you have tight DC requirements, you could always go with B grade. However, you can go with A grade if its specs are within your application critical parameters.
Also, the two grades differ in prices.

Jino
Oh, very good! Thank you very much!
I will buy AD8479 B in your agency.

Hi Jino,
I have consulted almost all agents of Analog Devices for AD8479 BRZ, but all of them don't have the product in stock. And I can receive AD8479 BRZ only after 22 September, 2018. It is too late.
So do you know there are other replacements for the AD8479 BRZ or SSM2141 with high input voltage range?
Thank you very much!

Hi Sun,
Apologies for late response. These are the possible Difference Amplifiers for your application. Please have a look. Selection Table for Difference Amplifiers | Parametric Search | Analog Devices

Hi Jino,
Thank you very much for your reply!
I found my goal product in your website and there are many products
in stock (AD629). I will purchase and test them.
If any question, I shall contact you.
Thank you. You are so nice!
