Selecting the minimum R_IN value for the MAX97220A

Question

What is the minimum RIN value when using the MAX97220A? 
 I want to use an RF of 12K&Omega; and the RIN of 1.9 K&Omega; . Is there any problem? Is it possible?

Hi MRKRJAY, 
 There is no specific minimum RIN value for the MAX97220A. The datasheet only limits the RIN value for C/D variants of the MAX97220 to 7.4k &Omega; - 12.7k&Omega;. 
 I think your selections of RF = 12k&Omega; and RIN = 1.9k&Omega; will work fine for your application. The one thing to note is to make sure your CIN capacitor selection with your selected RIN produces a desired input filter response. This is detailed more on page 13 of the MAX97220 datasheet.
