      The problem here is that it is an 18 bit DAC. We no longer have any 18 bit DACs available. The AD1866 is pretty much a drop in replacement with the exception that it is a 16 bit device. So the digital communication would have to be changed to supply it with only 16 bits per channel. 
      

      Any other replacement would be 24 bit and a lot more different footprint and the other difficulty is the 5V power. That is getting rare these days.
