High-performance audio D/A and A/D converters, including those made by Analog Devices and its subsidiaries like the AD1955, use I2S as a digital input/output format. Other firms such as ESS which produce high-end I2S converters also sell USB-I2S bridge ICs - is there any intention for AD to bring out its own USB I2S bridge? I've seen a discussion on this forum from 2018 where staff replied, but no subsequent updates on that product.
