AD1836A Full-Scale Differential Input Voltage Rating

We are looking for the maximum value for the AD1836A Full-Scale Differential Input Voltage on the ADC function. We see in the datasheet that the nominal is 2.18 Vrms typical and would like to know what the maximum is. We are currently estimating the maximum to be 2.35 Vrms based on newer CODECs but would like a more concrete answer. Thanks in advanced.

    This specification was not written into the datasheet and due to the age of this part we no longer have access to the original characterization data. This part has the status of: Not Recommended For New Designs, which means it will be obsolete soon. 

    I suggest we try to see if a newer part would satisfy your design requirements. What are the important design constraints of your application?

For our new design we have migrated to AD1937; but we do have to support our designs for many, many years and so sometimes we need to answer such questions after much time has passed. In this case we've used the AD1937 as a guideline as to what to expect on the older AD1836A since the newer part does offer both nominal and maximum. That provided some guidelines to answer the question on the older AD1836A; may not be perfect but is the best we have with the limited information. Thanks again.
