I know these are obsolete. I have some AD1865RJ which I was testing on the breadboard. On 2 ICs the analog negative supply -Vs is drawing about .5a. Now I could see maybe one doing this but 2 from the same sleeve( I have a total of 5 ICs). The data sheet shows pin 22 as -Vs, is this correct or maybe these are bad ICs. I don't recall where I purchased them from but I'm thinking maybe from Ebay China. Anyone else have this problem with these RJs. I've used the N and NJ and had no problems.
Which brings up a question about the N and NJ package. I'm noticing a higher offset on the current outputs(loaded with 300R) of the N compared to the NJ. Would the lower graded N package be the reason for this?
Thanks
