AD1955 ARWB software

Hello all,


I have a question regarding the "Automated Register Window Builder"-Software for the AD1955 Evaluation Board.  After installing the software (Evaluation Software >>Automated Register Window Builde, Version 3.2.1), I got an error message, saying that Windows prevented the start of the driver, because it causes an error (Code 48). Afterwards I took a look in the "Analog Devices/ARWB 3.2.1 / USB drivers" folder of the installation. There is only a folder "x86" .
I'm using Windows 10 , 64 bit. So I think this was the problem. By reading through different posts in the forum, I got the impression, that there are versions of the software that contain drivers for a x64 processor. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find them.


There was a second link on the product page of the AD1955 ("Automated Register Window Builder"). I tried it as well, but when I tried to install the driver in the devicemanager, I got the message that there is no suitable driver in the selected folder.


The hint to use the driver included in the SigmaStudios didn't work out for me either. The CyUSB.sys driver caused a crash of my Windows system.
I hope there is someone who can help me.

    Hello Spring,

    My first suggestion is to use the SigmaStudio installer since it does have the correct drivers. However, you did try it. You may want to delete the older drivers first. Uninstall SigmaStudio and ARWB and then start over by installing SigmaStudio first. 

    Now the issue we are both running into is that our programming team no longer wants to support the ARWB program. Then they do not want to add DLLs for older part in SigmaStudio so for parts like the AD1955 that is older but still a viable and very good part is kind of stuck in the middle. The ARWB program stopped working on my Windows 10 machine as well and it used to work. 

    I will make my internal pleas to get this issue fixed.

    Hello DaveThib,

    Thanks a lot for your answer. I uninstalled the ARWB and SigmaStudio and installed only SigmaStudio afterwards. My Windows isn't crashing anymore, but now I get the error, that Windows can't read the signature of the driver.
