Can th SSM2019 be run from a single DC power supply, rather than provide a +V and -V?
I'm planning a balanced microphone amplifier circuit and thinking towards an SSM2019.
You can run the SSM2019 from a single-sided DC supply, as you would any op amp. You will need to provide a +V/2 (half rail) reference for the REFERENCE pin on the part; this reference should be well filtered with both bulk and bypass capacitors. You will also need to provide appropriate AC coupling for the input and output, as each pin will be charged with the reference voltage.
Is there any application circuit for for using SSM2019 with single supply ?
As suggested in the response, I had connected REF pin to half the supply voltage and V- to GND. Also the IN+ is connected thru' a bypass capacitor. But the gain obtained in this mode of connection is less as compared to dual supply connection.
Same is reflecting in the multisim simulation of SSM2017.
(I had to use SSM2017, as SSM2019 model was not available in multisim).
Can someone provide an application/ sample circuit for using SSM 2019 with single supply.
