Hi,

 
I'm trying to use ADAU1381 eval board to record signal from on board microphones to I2S output with ADAU chip being master on I2S bus.

 
I got the chip producing BCLK and LRCLK but I see non zero data on the ADC output  only when FrameMode set to TDM4 or 8 but not in Stereo. I have bypassed all elements (wind cancelation, equalizer, etc..) so I basically just want to see the ADC working.  Any Idea what might be causing this is appreciated. Is there reference project that demonstrates recording from on board mics to I2S?

    I found 'Serial Output route Control' parameter on Sound Engine Setup page was the case of this. It seems that for 'Stereo' Chan/Frame parameter in Digital Setup 'ADC to Engine to Serial Output' option should be selected. Currently I don't have HW to capture i2S stream however on the scope it still looks like data does not correlate with the analog signal.E.g.
