    This is explained in the datasheet in the section labeled "Digital Microphone Input".  Page 31. If you are using our evaluation board then you must also change a jumper to change the pin from a jackdetect function to connect to the digital mic header on the eval board. It is jumper J7 and the setting is written on the silk screen of the PCB.
