What is vdata in SSM3525 datasheet

Hello support,

I already asked these questions by "Document Feedback" link in datasheet.

But I would like to get your answer soon, because I have to finish the proofreading datasheet of Japanese version next week.

The word is in "TDM operating mode" section Page 25.

I thought vdata is "Voltage" data. Is it correct understanding?

If it is correct, I felt it is mismatch between the description and  "Figure 68. TDM Serial Interface Format."

And the description marked "Figure 67. Standard I2S Data Placement Timing Diagram"

Could you give your advice?

Thanks & regards,

S.Kubo

    Hi Kubo,

The Vdata is for voltage sense data. The figures 67 and 68 are for I2S and TDM modes respectively. They are correct. In I2S the default setting would use low of the FSYNC as start of frame and output I sense whereas in TDM mode the rising edge is used as start of frame and the first data would be Vsense. However this placement is programmable in registers so the figures are only to show the typical data slot assignment. So the datasheet is correct.

    Regards

    Hi Rajeev,

    I'm sorry late reply.

I agreed your comment point about "Correct" or "Not correct".

However I thought one other point is easy understanding for user.

Which default setting? First data is "I Sense" or "V Sense" after the rising edge of FSYNC?

I thought one better way is to use the expression of default setting. If it's difficult to change the original datasheet, I will attach "Note" to Japanese edition.
