I am starting using the ADUCM350 evaluation board and when I followed the quick measurement steps, I always get an "UART handshaking error?" Do I need to download more software to J-Link? Or can I do something to fix that?

I went through the related link and see the possible reason you assmue is the excite voltage (Vpeak in GUI) is so low. So I use maximum voltage under attenuation mode, which is around 15mV to test a R in series with RC (1kR + 10kR || 1uF) parallel circuit for both 2wire setting, and the result is shown as follow:
For 2wire connection, from the schematic online, I think Rtia is 1k instead of 7.5k by default, so I changed that. If I choose fixed frequency, I can clearly got a good result from any frequency between 200hz - 50khz, which is great, and then I tried frequency sweep and things become interesting,
As can be seen, when using same circuit, I performed 2 test by changing the seeting. In the first test, I set the frequency sweep from 200Hz to 10kHz with increment as 100Hz. The handshaking error happened. But in the second test, I set the frequency sweep from1kHz to 10kHz with increment as 100Hz, the system worked! I tried several times and it keeps the same situation.
Also. for the 4 wire Custom connection, the same issue happened, sometimes it wokrs and by changing some parameter in the GUI, it failed and give me handshaking error. Based on this test, I think maybe the GUI is generated with bugs inside? Can you test this and give me some feedback?
Here is one more question I also want to ask, I want to use remote control for the board, say, I want to at home and left the board in the Lab, using internet (or maybe bluetooth) to operate the board. Do you think it is possible? Or has anyone already done the similar thing?

For this GUI, unfortunately, we don't have an available way to do the remote session on the board. We have an FAQ (Link below) which documents the UART command and responses to and from the ADuCM350 board. You can use this document to develop a program that will send UART commands remotely.
