The CM3WSD.exe cannot work in ADuCM320iQSPZ Eva board

Hello:

I used the EVAL-ADuCM320iQSPZ board, I can upgrade firmware into this board with Keil, but when I try the tool of CM3WSD.exe, it does not work, and I actually press the download button(P2.3) and pull the reset pin low then high, then release the download button(BM), I guess it had been in serial download mode, but it did work, I clicked the GUI of CM3WSD, it  show me "Press Download and pulse Reset on Hardware", actually I did it,  I tried different Bard rates, but it still did not work, Could please kindly clarify what's wrong for this issue?

    Hi Joylu,

The steps that you made is correct but since you are using EVAL-ADuCM320iQSPZ board so the part in it is ADuCM320i, therefore the downloader that will only work for it is the MI2CWSD application. But, before you can use the I2CWSD application, you will be needing an external module which is called the I2C Multidongle, here is the link for it. I2C Multidongle

On the other hand, the CM3WSD(UART downloader) only works for ADuCM310 only.

    Hope this helps Joylu. Thanks!

    Best Regards,

    AJ
