The data sheet only really says that the wake-up timer (timer 1) brings the core out of power down mode. That's not very useful if I need to respond to characters received on the UART, so I'm hoping the UART and ADC interrupts will power up the core. Can someone please clarify?
ADuC7060 doesn't support UART or ADC interrupt to wake up the processor.
Bother, I'll have burn more power.
Hi, that's surprising to me, as I have used the ADuC7060 in Pause and even Nap modes previously, with the ADCs running in background, and was able to wake the core up on ADC interrupts, and also by sending a byte via UART.We use this in devices that pause/nap between ADC interrupts, and that can, additionally, be woken up by Modbus requests to the UART peripheral.
