ADuC702x: Flash Questions

[Q1] The 10,000 times flash cycle guarantee applies to each page, respectively, right?

[Q2] Is the health of a given page independent of other pages?

Say power is lost during a flash update to a page? Will it affect other pages?

Say a page goes through excessive update. Will the failure of this page affect the function of other pages?

[Q3] Do you have a ADuC702x-like part with a built-in EEPROM of about 2K bytes

[Q4] What is the value after flash erase? 0xFFFF?

    1) Yes, that is correct. The 10,000 figure is a very conservative figure also.

    2) yes, they are full independent - assuming a page erase is used and not a mass erase.

    3) Not on the ARM7 series. The ADuC7122/7128/7124/7126 have 2 x 64kB independent flash blocks. One of these blocks could be used as EEPROM, the other for program storage.

    4) Yes, after an erase the value is all 0xFFFFs
