Are there any IBIS models for the ADuC7022? In this case, I am primarily interested in the SPI signals. Thank you!
In this case I only can recommend, never do use a ribbon cable - even if it is short for SPI, it may work on the bench, but to get it working in real live I suggest it is shielded at least, even longer tracks on a PCB can cause problems at higher speeds (> 250kHz SPICLK).
Thank you for confirming! I couldn't find them on the web site so I figured that was the case. Do you know of any other way to enable modelling of the I/O line behaviors (transition, frequency response)? If not, it is OK. I just expect to be asked this from those that I am helping. Thanks!
In this case, I don't have an exact scenario but based on previous requests, I can imagine that this particular engineer is wanting to drive a short ribbon cable with the output on the ADUC7022 and would like to predict the voltage/time behaviors at the output pin and at the end of their cable. I suspect that even a simple model for the driver and a lumped-model approach to their ribbon cable might do the trick.
You may have this as well, but we get lots of open-ended requests for modelling behaviors and ask exactly the same question that you did. If you don't have anything on this, it is OK, we can work for more details and come back.
