All interrupt processing is disabled during the flash page erase. How can we handle this ?

Hello, 
 We are getting Uart communication fault because all interrupt processing is disabled during the flash page erase. How can we handle this ? I read some recommendations about the Remap 
 Operation. The advice is about the apply Remap. But I couldn`t find an example to apply Remap operation.

I found an example code about Remap Operation. But it is not working. And The code is going to crash after i set Remap as 1 .
