If VCC is floating (no supply is connected to part), is the part going into High Z automatically and INT would be isolated from EXT. Will EXT still handle 28V with floating Vcc?

MAX9940 EXT pin can be withstand large DC voltages up to 28V even when VCC is 0. The internal diode breakdown voltage is up to 30V, beyond 28V. Also, when VCC = 0V, MAX9940 is in shutdown mode and the switch is turn off.
