Question
Hello,
We want to connect AD8015 ( transimpedance ) to an APD powered by 60V.
Could you help us with the connection ? All application notes, talk about a PIN but not an APD
Answer
AD8015 was released in 1994 and hence the applications were made according to the availability at that time.
APD diode, needs a large reversed bias voltage across the diode. So, it could work with AD8015 as well. However, we have to be careful about the APDapplications.
AD8015 I_IN pin is one of an op-amp differential input pins. In real application, I_IN normal operation voltage would usually be clamped by that ofpin 4.Please find below the examples on how an APD can be connected to AD8015.
