Do you have any information as to the variation in phase between the two
channels of the AD605 as the gain is changed?
Answer
We have no phase information for the AD605, but we do have some group-delay
bench data for the AD604. The AD604 includes an LNA, but any significant group
delay variance will be in the VGA section, which is the same as that of the
AD605. I’ve attached a copy of the AD604 measurements which shows GD
differences of ≤1ns. Channel-to-channel variance should be quite small, down in
the tens of ps. We have however no way to control this property in production.
