Question
We are planning to use an amplifier AD8352 in one of our designs. We see that
the bandwidth goes up to 2.2 GHz. However, the datasheet does not give any
clear information on the lowest frequencies that the device can reach. Some
graphs are only showing the performance for frequencies as low as 10 MHz.Is
that the lowest frequency, or is it possible to use the device for lower
frequencies (that is, DC or a few KHz)?
Answer
Yes, I believe the AD8352 can go down to DC. It is difficult to cover every
customer’s application on the datasheet so we try to choose test conditions
that fit the majority of the audience Therefore the lowest frequency on most
of our datasheets starts at 10MHz.If you were to look at any of the amplifiers
from the RF group, they all start at 10MHz.
