Question
I am looking for an adjustable low pass filter such as the ADRF6516 for a Low
IF convertion radio. However, I require up to 44 MHz -0.5 dBc bandwidth for
one of the modulation schemes. Is it possible to "bypass" the filter section in
the 6516 for the higher bandwidth and use the adjustable range for the below 30
MHz signals? Or is there perhaps another device that you would suggest?
Answer
There is no way to bypass the filter in the ADRF6516, but we do have an LPF
Filter VGA ADRF6518 that has its highest corner at 63 MHz and has a filter
bypass feature. For the latest ADRF6518 datasheet refer to our website.
